PaidTal is a payments product, which means the design problem is confidence rather than decoration. A user has to know what is about to happen before it happens, and what happened after it did.
So balances, transfers and history are the three things the app is built around, with every amount, fee and destination restated on the confirmation step. Authentication, session handling and transaction states were treated as product surface, not plumbing, because in a payments app those are the moments a user is most likely to abandon.
